We work in collaboration with ministry projects in developing nations, many are working with the ultra-poor and are experiencing limited government support. Our hearts and prayers go out to our Ministry Agents and the communities in which they serve. The necessity of physical distancing and business closures is having severe consequences on the ultra-poor.
We continue to hear heartbreaking stories from our Agents who are in areas where many people rely on that day’s wages to provide a meal for their family, and with no work available, the hunger crisis is looming. The fear of the pandemic has caused some governments to take extreme steps, steps that are hindering people from sharing basic necessities with those in need.
These are unprecedented times and we will continue praying, trusting that God will protect them, provide for them, and guide them.
