About This Project:
Mission Yucatán is a Christian ministry based in Merida, Yucatán with the goal to serve the local church and community-based ministries through acts of compassion and support. Our projects range from feeding the homeless to caring for children who are abandoned or rescued from abuse. We partner with a foster home for 14 children, Casa Emanuel, a Bible and sports camp, Camp John 3:16, and small community churches in Hunucma and Merida.
The pastors and community leaders who we help care deeply about the families in their communities, and they bring light to dark places on a daily basis. Our hope is to share the light of the world, our Savior Jesus Christ, with the people of Yucatán
Why give to this project?
Pastors Gama, Ricardo and Miguel require funds to continue to provide important services and programs for children and families. Casa Emanuel parents Lupita and Victor are in need of funds or gifts in kind for clothing, shoes, food and school supplies. The global Covid pandemic has affected their communities deeply and many families are struggling both financially and spiritually.
