About Us

Novō’s vision is to bring glory to God, new life to individuals, peace to families, and hope to communities. Our heart is to serve those who are addicted, homeless, isolated, and unemployed. Our mission is to empower God’s people to launch effective and sustainable Novō communities, that model best practice, across the developing world. These communities have Christ at the center, focus on the whole person, express grace & truth, promote freedom & responsibility, and partner with a variety of local churches and organizations.

Addressing Addiction

Established in 2015, Novō builds on the work of Yeldall Manor, a UK charity which has been providing residential addiction treatment for over 40 years, in ways which fit the cultural, economic, and social realities of the local context.

How We Help

Our first recovery community opened in November 2016, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and has space for up to 22 men in recovery.

  • Our 24-week Therapeutic program helps residents address the past and prepare for the future, staying for the most part within the security of the Novō community of staff and residents.
  • Our 12-week Transition program focuses on ‘putting into practice’ learning and growth from the recovery program and establishing relationships in the community.
