The mission of the Spartan Foundation is to invest in student-athletes today, which will help develop Complete ChampionsTM and leaders for tomorrow; all with the purpose to further God’s Kingdom.In recent years, cost of living, social isolation and economic downturn have significantly impacted student-athletes’ mental health, financial need and ability to obtain scholarships for Christian education at Trinity Western University (TWU).

The Spartan Foundation works alongside TWU Spartan Athletics to raise funds to enhance the unique Complete Champion ApproachTM program, building leaders of tomorrow and addressing the ever-increasing need for mental health support and services. We support marginalized student-athletes who are struggling with financial stress by raising funds for need-based scholarships. We strive to help raise funds for team cross-cultural mission trips and community service programs that develop students’ leadership and service abilities. Student-athletes who graduate from TWU Spartan Athletics enter the community as a generation ready.
