COVID-19 Crisis Response

Families all over the world are suddenly spending a whole lot more time with each other.  That’s great! Until it isn’t. The stress of being out of routine, not being able to spend time with friends, having to do school in a new and different way, perhaps facing financial difficulties, health concerns – these all take their toll. The Stoplight Approach has a lot to offer parents as they learn how to cope with this new family life.

Urgent Needs

Using the science of how the brain works, how it responds to stress, and translating that into the simple language of Red, Yellow, and Green, the Stoplight Approach can help parents and children understand, communicate, and cope in the strange new world we now find ourselves in. Coincidentally, we have just revised our parenting book, What Colour Is Your Home?: The Stoplight Approach for Parents and would like to offer this resource to families around the world particularly at this time. And to make the information in this book even more accessible, we’ve started an Instagram account that will provide small tools to manage stress and ideas to help family relationships grow stronger.
