As a family, we are committed followers of Jesus living amongst the unreached, currently in the Horn of Africa. We focus on making disciples who make disciples, building leaders, restoring the land, building abundance from the ground up.
The people group where we live is unreached, and living in a degraded and increasingly fragile environment, due to many years of drought and war. Traditionally a nation of nomadic herders, they are very dependent on the land as the source of food, water and security.
We give ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. We serve the people around us by demonstrating different herding practices that empower the rural poor to improve their environment and herd sustainably. We also work to provide clean accessible water sources for those who are most vulnerable. We train and equip decision makers in government and the NGO sector to effectively and sustainably tackle the problems they are facing.
