Centre Lumière is a holistic ministry that focuses on equipping young women with the Gospel, vocational training, and life skills. Our primary goal is to strengthen them spiritually so that they are better prepared for the challenges they will face in life.
Haiti is a country fraught with obstacles of all kinds. Natural disaster, unemployment, hunger, and political unrest make daily life a challenge for everyone. Over the years that we have served in Haiti we have witnessed the devastation of a category 4 hurricane and a 7.2 earthquake which has caused incredible damage to infrastructure and personal lives. The struggle for meeting the daily needs of a family is challenging at best.
Why give to this project?
Centre Lumiere, is a place where we want to provide an environment of peace, education, and restoration in which our students can learn to stand strong in their faith during the struggles that confront them on a daily basis. And in turn, they can empower, their families, churches, and communities around them to do the same.
We are seeking churches, organizations, and individuals who are willing to partner with us through prayer and through finances to help build a stronger foundation through these ladies, in which they can prevail against the forces of this ever-changing world with the truth of the Gospel.
