Caring for Children

ENEPHA (Children of Hope for Haiti) exists to meet the immediate needs of housing, food, medical care and education for children in Haiti. This is accomplished through two related avenues; a children’s home and a foster care program. The children’s home houses, cares for and educates children who were placed in their care by the government of Haiti after being abandoned by, or losing, their parents. The foster program allows for children to live in family units with help from ENEPHA to cover the costs of caring for the child.

Haiti has had a long history of devastation and poverty that effects children and puts them at risk. We work together with the local government to care for the needs of vulnerable children. In some cases, that hep comes in the form of a home where several children live together and are cared for. In other cases there is an extended family member or a community member that is willing to care for the child in a foster setting.

For all of our kids to be able to thrive and overcome their circumstances we need your help. Raising kids isn’t easy, or inexpensive, and we need partners to come alongside of us and help us create a safe, faith-filled, loving environment for these amazing kids to grow up.
