Jojo’s Sanctuary, a project of GCF, is a non-profit founded in 2016 and is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in the northern part of the country. Our mission is to educate, protect and empower vulnerable children, families, and communities in Northern Thailand.

At Jojo’s Sanctuary, our main priority is keeping kids in families and making sure those families are strong and safe for all family members. Our Building Family Dreams program encourages families to build strong bonds by teaching them how to spend quality time together making good memories. We have monthly sessions where we either do a workshop on different ways to build a strong family or go on family field trips somewhere in the city so the family can learn and have new experiences together.

Prayer Request:

For wisdom as we provide support to families with a wide range of issues, from poverty to physical and mental disability to lack of documentation and access to education.

For the funding to hire a part-time accountant. As we are growing, so are the financial reporting requirements, and we would like to engage someone locally who has more of a background in accounting than we do!

For the students who missed two years of school due to the pandemic, that they would be able to catch up and continue their studies. Also for students to have a desire to complete not just the mandatory minimum education requirement of 9^th grade, but to continue to finish high school and even university!
