2023 Year-End Overview

Christmas Greetings from Dr. Jonathan Pons & Our Team

This year as our mission grew, we have indeed served and witnessed in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. Sometimes in hot deserts, consulting in a tent, or with troublesome equipment, but always with big crowds. This year has been different to the past, as I’ve known more deeply than ever, that standing behind me are my brothers and sisters of Christian Ophthalmology Society, watching over me in prayer and helping us provide for growing eye care needs with material support. The Spirit’s power is evident in the lives changed, whilst your  steadfast support has lifted me up and blessed so many already. Thank-you COS family!

Dr Jonathan Pons

Executive Director, Medical Mission Eswatini

Medical Director, Grace Vision Clinic

My most memorable moment this year was working 5 of the longest days ever with the One Sight Team to give free glasses to so many people in a short time. Blessing the community made me proud of this work.

Ms Lomagugu Mthembu,

GV Ophthalmic Assistant

I will remember my time working with MME and Grace Vision by all the smiles and gratitude of the people I was able to assist.

Dr Jeroen vanKleij

Ophthalmic Trainee, Netherlands

Working with Grace Vision to support more affordable and charitable care means that every day I know I am contributing to a better life for someone who is in need. I am proud to serve all clients equally.

Mr Tatenda Marawanyika, GV Optometrist
