Rock House Ministries Mike Gordon Img 1

I just started my 22nd year in ministry, which is crazy to even think about. When I decided to go into ministry in September 2003, I never imagined that God would or could use me in the ways He has over the years, all around the world. I spent years working in churches as a young adult pastor and with Christian organizations with an evangelistic focus until I felt God calling me to focus on speaking full-time which was a crazy step of faith, to say the least. I never would have expected to still be doing this today as I head into year 22, and I certainly never imagined speaking over 3,200 times throughout the years.

The ministry I do now is simply to point people of all ages and from all walks of life to Jesus. Whether it’s speaking at a traditional church on a Sunday morning, at a concert with a Grammy Award-winning band, or at an outreach event in a rough neighborhood, the heart behind what I do has never changed.

I have had the privilege of seeing thousands of people come to Christ over the years in some way, shape, or form, which has been a blessing. I witness the story of hope, redemption, and God’s faithfulness every day by being on the front lines of ministry.

Partnering with the Great Commission Foundation has been an incredible blessing. Years ago, I made the decision not to have a “set fee” for speaking engagements because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to hear the Gospel. I never wanted to turn down an invitation simply because a church or event couldn’t afford it. By partnering with GCF and inviting people to support the ministry, I’m able to continue without set fees, which allows me to always be available and say “yes” to opportunities to share the Gospel.

Ministry Overview:

Mike has spent 22 years in full-time ministry, delivering over 3200 messages worldwide. With eight years of post-secondary education and ordination, he uses a unique communication style to evangelize across diverse platforms. Recently, God opened doors for him to partner with Christian bands, allowing him to reach people of all ages outside traditional church settings. As fewer people attend church, Mike focuses on sharing Jesus in non-traditional environments, especially with young audiences. To make his ministry accessible, he doesn’t charge a set speaking fee and seeks financial partners to continue serving and spreading the gospel.

Prayer Request:

Pray for Mike Gordon and his ministry as he works to complete his first book while navigating the complexities of immigration. In the next season, he will also be transitioning his ministry focus to the U.S.
