2022 Year-End Overview
Despite our beautiful beaches and “no problem” mantra, Jamaica has the highest murder rate in the Caribbean, and for 2022 the second highest murder rate in the world. More than 55 percent of Jamaica’s population live in urban areas where most of our crime happens.
Our Ministry
New Generation is a Christian adventure campsite located in a forested area on the north of Jamaica. We aim to help people grow in their relationship with God and each other. This happens through (i) getting campers to unplug & immerse themselves in creation (ii) offering Biblical programs (iii) providing experiential team building activities. We want to continue to be a place where people can feel safe to heal, grow in their faith, and learn strategies that will help them better engage in conflict.
Urgent Needs
We hope you will help us raise USD $5000 to repair and replace benches and mattresses at our campsite. The majority of time spent at camp is spent outside. And when you’re not outside you’re sleeping. Having safe places for people to sit and sleep is essential, making repairing our benches and getting new mattresses a priority.
With no camps booked during the two years of the pandemic, we were not able to conduct our usual maintenance projects. As a result, 80% of our benches and 36% of our mattresses are in disrepair. We need your help with this project so that we can operate at full capacity and impact more lives.

Since 2014, Friends of the Great Commission Foundation has been providing a place for individuals, ministries and organizations to thrive in ministry. Our vision is to work together to help the impoverished, further education, and help fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
We are passionate about helping fulfill the Great Commission. Our team of skilled administrative and accounting personnel are dedicated to simplifying ministry. We bring admin relief to our agents and projects and release them to spend more time on ministry work. Through collaboration, we provide compliance, clarity, and relief to ministry.
